Plevna is a town in Fallon County, Montana, United States.
[3] Plevna was founded in 1909 along the Milwaukee Road transcontinental rail line known as the Pacific Extension.
Bulgarian railroad workers named the town after the city of Pleven in Bulgaria.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.59 square miles (1.53 km2), all land.
32.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were 6.5% of families and 8.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including 16.7% of under eighteens and none of those over 64.
Plevna School District educates students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
