Polar is a town in Langlade County, Wisconsin, United States.
[3] The town of Polar established a post office in 1882, until it was discontinued in 1887.
In 1897, the town restored the post office, but it was eventually permanently discontinued in 1967.
It is 9 miles (14 km) east of Antigo, the Langlade county seat.
17.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
