Pauline Knipp Hill was an American artist born on 2 April 1900 in Ithaca,[1] New York and died on 22 February 1990.
Knipp and George Snow Hill were students of Carl Tracy Hawley in the College of Fine Arts at the Syracuse University.
She followed Hill to Paris, France after graduation and they were married on 16 November 1925, in St. Luke's Chapel.
[2] She produced etchings of European architecture early in her career and "satirical genre scenes that reflected American culture" later.
[3] Her work was part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics.
