Ponikva pri Žalcu (pronounced [ˈpoːnikʋa pɾi ˈʒaːu̯tsu]) is a village in the Municipality of Žalec in east-central Slovenia.
It lies in the Ložnica Hills (Slovene: Ložniško gričevje) northwest of Žalec.
The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.
