Portal is a town in Bulloch County, Georgia, United States.

The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Portal as a town in 1914.

[4] It is unknown why the name "Portal" was applied to this place.

[6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.6 km2), of which 2.1 square miles (5.5 km2) is land and 0.077 square miles (0.2 km2), or 2.99%, is water.

[7] As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 597 people, 232 households, and 167 families residing in the town.
