Potala Palace Square

[3] According to historical records, in 1961, Potala Palace was included in the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

At night, the musical fountain of the Potala Palace Square is a popular tourist attraction in Lhasa.

The name of the monument was written by Comrade Jiang Zemin, then General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

The abstract design inspired by Mount Everest symbolizes the great journey of the peaceful liberation of Tibet.

Its unique shape and inscription design show a solemn sense of coexistence with heaven and earth.
