[3] Before high school, Erram joined a Milo Olympics tournament in his province, where he met coach Arvin Martinez.

He was among six Ateneo players taken in that draft, along with Chua, Greg Slaughter, Ryan Buenafe, Nico Salva, and Chris Sumalinog.
