He attended NSM Public School in Vijayawada and pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Nagarjuna University.

[10] In 2001, Prasad co-founded Irevna, a company specializing in knowledge process outsourcing services, which was acquired by CRISIL in 2005.
