He also alleged that Simoes used to extort money from the audience at his shows and that the trio in collaboration wrote multiple negative articles about him on SpotboyE, an online news portal.

Before filing the complaint, Sharma abused Lalwani in a telephone conversation and later leaked a recording of it, which went viral on social media.
