Proletarsky District (Russian: Пролета́рский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia.

It is located in the south of the oblast.

The area of the district is 2,740 square kilometers (1,060 sq mi).
