Protoscaphirhynchus squamosus is an extinct sturgeon from the Late Cretaceous of North America.

It is known from a single poorly preserved specimen found in the Maastrichtian aged Hell Creek Formation in Montana.

Due to its poor preservational state, it has few diagnostic characters.
