Chondrosteidae /ˌkɒndroʊstiˈaɪdiː/ is a family of extinct marine actinopterygian fishes, known from the Early Jurassic of Europe.
Their skeleton was largely made up of bones (unlike living chondrosteans), but ossification was reduced compared to other ray-fins.
