Pseudohemiculter hainanensis is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish from the family Xenocyprididae, the East Asian minnows or sharpbellies, from south east Asia.

It occurs in the Yuanjiang, Zhujiang, Hainan Island, and middle reaches of Changjiang River in China and Vietnam.
