Megacraspedus pityritis is a moth of the family Gelechiidae.
It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from southern Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
The stigmata are conspicuous and black, with the plical very obliquely beyond the first discal.
The hindwings are ochreous grey whitish.
