Quenton D. DeCosey Jr. (born August 8, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Rabotnički of the Macedonian First League.
[1] He played varsity basketball from grades 10–12, leading his team its first ever state title just before graduating in 2012.
He played alongside Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves for a year before graduating and committing to Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Many began to see how vital the shooting guard would be during the coming years when he scored 13 points in 18 minutes in a loss against the Duke Blue Devils.
He led in scoring in 11 games and recorded his first career double-double with a game-high 21 points and career-best 11 rebounds in a NIT Quarterfinal win over Louisiana Tech.
[6][7] One of the biggest moments of DeCosey's college career came during the last few seconds of regulation in their 1st-round game against Iowa in the NCAA tournament.
[15] After a stint with the Salt Lake City Stars, DeCosey returned to Greece and signed with Lavrio on the day of his birthday, August 8, 2019.
[19] On June 27, 2023, DeCosey signed with the Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
