Quitman is an unincorporated community in west central Nodaway County, Missouri, United States.
In November 2012, the Nodaway County Commission voted to disincorporate Quitman after local residents asked for it.

43.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
