R. M. Singh

In 1983, he got a chance to meet renowned artist Sobha Singh (painter) at Andretta, Himachal Pradesh.

He participated in an exhibition, which was organised by a local convent school, where he sold off all his displayed works.

RM Singh is known for working with a wide spectrum of genres of painting.

Painting landscapes is rather easy for him, but, where he finds the actual challenge to his sense of aesthetics and the grip over the medium is the genre of portraiture.

[citation needed] At Shabad Parkash Museum, Rakba, Ludhiana, Punjab, he painted portraits of the 36 writers of Guru Granth Sahib.
