Wanaparthy Samsthanam was founded by Veera Venkata Krishna Reddy who hails from Present day Kadapa Dist and belong to Motati Clan, Wanaparthy Samasthanam traces its history back to the 14th century after the Kakatiya kingdom declined.
The successive Turkic Muslim dynasties, who invaded and settled in Deccan, found it ideal for Samsthanam to prevail.
