Ravno Selo

Ravno Selo (Serbian Cyrillic: Равно Село, pronounced [râːʋnoː sělo]; Hungarian: Sóvé) is a village in Serbia.

It is situated in the municipality of Vrbas, in the South Bačka District, Vojvodina province.

The village has a Serb ethnic majority and its population numbering 3,478 people (2002 census).

In Serbian, the village is known as Ravno Selo (Равно Село), in German as Alt-Schowe, and in Hungarian as Ósóvé.

In 1893, the population of the village numbered 2,136 inhabitants, including 1,436 Serbs, 653 Germans, 15 Hungarians, and 32 others.
