It is a subsidiary of the energy drink company Red Bull GmbH and has offices in Los Angeles and London.

Since its inception, Red Bull Records has been home to artists and bands such as Albert Hammond Jr, Blxst, The Aces (Alumni), Awolnation, Kofi, Beartooth, House of protection, Morgan, Peter $un, Twin Atlantic (Alumni) and James Vickery.
