Reginald Richard Bailey

Reginald Richard Bailey FSA JP (25 August 1890 – 12 December 1972) was an English accountant and Liverpool City Councilman.

[1] Bailey was elected to Liverpool City Council on 1 November 1931, as a Conservative for Walton Ward.

He was heavily involved in municipal finance, and his advice was frequently sought on budget matters.

He also represented the LCC in the Liverpool Philharmonic Society, and acted as a Receiver of the High Court.

In 1955, he was director of the Clubmoor Picture House and the Premier theatres in Liverpool, and chairman of the Regal in Ormskirk.
