Reisen Ri

Reisen Ri (李麗仙; 25 March 1942 – 22 June 2021), also credited as Reisen Lee,[3] was a Japanese stage and film actress of Korean descent.

[1][4][5] Born in Tokyo as a third-generation Korean resident[a],[4] she joined Jūrō Kara's "Situation Theatre" in 1963[1] and gave her film debut in Nagisa Ōshima's 1969 Diary of a Shinjuku Thief.

[6] In 1972, she starred in Hiroshi Teshigahara's film Summer Soldiers,[6] and in 1985, in Paul Schrader's Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters.

[3] In addition, she appeared on stage in Japan and South Korea.

[2][4] She died in Tokyo on 22 June 2021, aged 79.
