Van Hoek (born 1971) is a professor of Supply Chain Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.

[8] He has been a member of many editorial advisory boards for international journals in the supply-chain management field.

Remko also served as the 2018 Chairman[9] of the Board of Directors of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals in the U.S.[10] Remko was the keynote speaker at the Procurement Summit in the U.K.[11] and has done keynotes around the world including in Singapore, Finland, and the United Kingdom.
