Remya Nambeesan

Remya Nambeesan is an Indian actress and playback singer, who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil films.

Remya Nambeesan was born in Chottanikkara, Kochi, Kerala[1] to Subrahmaniam Unni and Jayasree.

[2][3] Her father is a former theatre artiste, who was an active member of troupes such as "Jubilee" and "Harishree".

She has a brother, Rahul,[2] who has worked as the music director in the Malayalam movie Philips and the Monkey Pen and as a playback singer in the film Thattathin Marayathu.

[2][7][8] She played her first lead role, as a bold dance teacher, in the 2006 film Aanachandam.
