Repulse Bay Beach

The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government.

[1] Rated Grade 1 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality,[2] the beach is about 292 metres long with views of Middle Island.

He was rescued by lifeguards and was taken by an ambulance to Tang Shiu Kin Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

[3] On 22 June 2004, a 27-year-old man drowned while swimming with friends near the beach.

It is consistently among the most popular beaches in Hong Kong, attracting large tour groups throughout the year.
