Richard Ernest Gotham (born August 31, 1964)[1] is an American business executive who is the president of the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

An active alumnus, he is currently a member of the Providence College Boston President's Council, Varsity Athletics Board, and the Vision Team for the Men's Basketball program.

Gotham spent five years holding senior management positions with the global internet media company Lycos.

Gotham left Lycos in April 2003, and joined the Celtics as the organization's Executive Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Corporate Development.
