Richard A. Robinson (born December 10, 1957) is an American lawyer who is a former member of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
He was appointed to the Connecticut Supreme Court on December 19, 2013.
[1] In November 2017, the Chief Justice Chase T. Rogers announced that she would retire in February 2018.
[2] Governor Dannel Malloy nominated Justice Andrew J. McDonald to be the next chief justice, but his nomination was rejected by the Connecticut Senate.
[3] In April 2018, Governor Malloy nominated Robinson to be chief justice of Connecticut.
