Richard J. Aldrich

Richard James Aldrich FRHistS (born 7 December 1961) is a British political scientist and a historian of espionage who has written intensively about intelligence and security communities.

Since September 2007, he has been a professor of International Security at the Department of Politics and International Studies, University of Warwick.

[1] He was a professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham and was co-editor of the journal Intelligence and National Security for eight years.

[2] In 1990 Aldrich gained his PhD from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge.
