Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Rochfort-Mervyn (12 December 1740 – 20 February 1776) was a British Army officer and politician.
[1] On 9 June 1764, he married Letitia, daughter of James Mervyn and Arabella Edwards, and assumed the surname of Mervyn.
He was an officer in the British Army and became a lieutenant colonel in the 35th Regiment of Foot.
[2] In 1761 he was elected to the Irish House of Commons as the Member of Parliament for County Westmeath.
He represented the constituency until his death, without children, in 1776.
