Richmond Township, Winona County, Minnesota

[4] Richmond Township was organized in 1858, and named for a French settler.

At the 2000 census,[2] there were 729 people, 278 households and 207 families residing in the township.

The population density was 45.0 inhabitants per square mile (17.4/km2).

There were 278 households, of which 36.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.0% were married couples living together, 3.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.5% were non-families.

19.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
