He was previously a Republican member of the New York State Assembly representing the 15th Assembly District,[2] which includes parts of central Nassau County including Hicksville, Westbury and Syosset.
Walker had started out as a summer intern for then Nassau County Legislator Ed Mangano.
[3] He moved on to become the assistant to Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto and Director of Traffic Safety and Constituent Services.
