Robbio

Robbio is a city and comune (municipality) in the Province of Pavia in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km southwest of Milan and about 45 km west of Pavia.

Robbio borders the following municipalities: Borgolavezzaro, Castelnovetto, Confienza, Nicorvo, Palestro, Rosasco, Vespolate.

[3] Later it was a Lombard town and, later, a possession of the Catholic diocese of Vercelli.

In 1220 the latter definitively acquired it through a diploma issued by Emperor Frederick II.

Then part of the Duchy of Milan, it was entrusted to several feudal families.
