Robert Coker

Robert Coker (c. 1617 – 23 September 1698) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1656 and 1660.

He matriculated at Magdalen Hall, Oxford on 23 October 1635, aged 18 and studied law at the Middle Temple in 1637.

[1] He was a Justice of the Peace for Dorset by 1646 until July 1688 and from November 1688 until his death.

[2] In 1660, he was re-elected MP for Dorset in the Convention Parliament.

[2] Coker died at the age of 80 and was buried at Mappowder.
