Robert Stephen (Bob) Hill (born 1954) is an Australian botanist.
[1] He is best known for his research on the fossil history of the southern beech (Nothofagus) and the southern conifers.
[2] Hill graduated from the University of Adelaide with PhD entitled "The eocene megafossil flora of Nerriga, New South Wales".
[3] As of 2024[update], Hill is a professor in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Adelaide.
