Robert William Hooper

Robert William Hooper (October 24, 1810 – April 13, 1885) was an American physician.

He returned to the United States in 1835 and obtained an MD degree from Harvard Medical School in 1836.

After Ellen Hooper's death on November 3, 1848,[4][5][10] he stopped working as a full-time doctor and took care of children himself.

[11][12] Hooper worked as a surgeon at the Charitable Eye and Ear Infirmary and was a trustee of the Boston Athenaeum for thirty years.
