Roberta Anastase

Roberta Alma Anastase (Romanian pronunciation: [roˈberta anasˈtase]; born 27 March 1976 in Ploiești, Romania) is a Romanian politician and former first female President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania between 19 December 2008 and 3 July 2012.

[1][failed verification][2] Her father, Cornel Anastase, before 1989 was a director of the 1st May factory in Ploiești,[3] and then, a sub-prefect of Prahova County.

She was also the first woman who chaired the Chamber of Deputies and the youngest person who held this position (aged 32 at that time).
