Roberto Ortiz (baseball)

Roberto Gonzalo Ortiz Núñez (June 30, 1915 – September 15, 1971) was a Cuban professional baseball player.

He was an outfielder over parts of six major-league seasons between 1941 and 1950 with the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics.

[1] Ortiz was born in Camagüey, Cuba, in 1915 and died in Miami in 1971, aged 56.

[1] He was inducted to the Mexican Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973.
