The 2020 edition of the race was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

[7] Organizers initially announced that the race would return on the weekend of June 13, 2021, as a "half marathon event" before postponing it to the weekend of August 22 and then cancelling it altogether, with entries automatically transferred to 2022.
