The racial makeup of the township was 99.04% White, 0.16% Native American, 0.48% Asian, and 0.32% from two or more races.

There were 224 households, out of which 35.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.4% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.0% were non-families.

11.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
