Rodney Marc Smith (born March 12, 1970) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, and Green Bay Packers.
He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
In high school, he played running back for Roseville Area High School.
Smith was selected in the second round of the 1992 NFL draft by the New England Patriots.
