Roger Andewelt

[1] Born in Brooklyn, New York, Andewelt received a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College in 1967, and served as a patent examiner in the United States Patent Office from 1968 to 1972.

During this time, he received a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School in 1971.

[1] On March 3, 1987, President Ronald Reagan nominated Andewelt to a seat on the U.S. Claims Court vacated by Thomas J. Lydon.

Andewelt was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 19, 1987, and received his commission the following day.
