Roger Nelson (Canadian football)

Roger Nelson (May 8, 1932 – July 29, 1996) was an American and Canadian football offensive tackle and guard.

Nelson was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1986, the Edmonton Eskimo Wall of Honour in 1987, and, as part of the 1954–1956 Edmonton Eskimos football teams, the Alberta Sport Hall of Fame in 2007.

[4] His grandson, Kyle Nelson, played tight end for the New Mexico State Aggies college football team and is currently a long snapper for the BC Lions of the CFL.
