Roger T. Hughes

Roger Thomas Hughes KC (September 16, 1941 – March 7, 2024) was a judge of the Federal Court of Canada.

[1] Born in Montreal, Quebec, Hughes obtained a bachelor of science from Queen's University in 1963 and a law degree from the University of Toronto in 1966.

[1] Hughes was named to the Federal Court of Canada in 2005 and sat until 2016.

[2] He also served as president of the Patent and Trademark Institute of Canada and director of the Advocates' Society.
