He was a commissioner of the peace for Cambridgeshire and Norfolk for many of the years between 1373 and 1386.
[3] Roger's main residence was at Rivenhall in Essex.
He also held Haselingfeld in Cambridgeshire[4] and gained Shaldford in Essex and lands in Kent through his marriage.
Roger married Joan,[1] daughter of, Sir John de Northwode.
They had the following children:- Joan later remarried to Sir Edmund de Thorpe, Jnr., without licence.
