Romulus is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in the Town of Romulus, Seneca County, New York, on the border with the Town of Varick.

As of the census[2] of 2010, there were 409 people, 152 households, and 100 families residing in the CDP.
The racial makeup of the CDP was 94.9% White, 2.0% Black or African American, 0.5% Native American, 0.0% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 0.2% from other races, and 2.4% from two or more races.
28.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were 170 housing units at an average density of 283.3 per square mile (109.4/km2).
