Ron the Greek (foaled May 9, 2007) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse, winner of the 2013 Jockey Club Gold Cup .
[1] Ron the Greek's first race was on October 11, 2009 at Hoosier Park, which he won.
[1] Ron then captured another Grade 1 win, this time at the 2012 Stephen Foster Handicap.
[1][2] On September 28, 2013, Ron won the Grade 1 2013 Jockey Club Gold Cup.
[1][3] He then finished off his career by getting wins in January and February of 2015 in Saudi Arabia, winning the Crown Prince Cup and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
