Rosemary Leonard

Rosemary Anne Leonard (born 22 July 1956)[1] is a British general practitioner and journalist.

[citation needed] She then went to the all-female Newnham College, Cambridge where she graduated with double first-class honours,[2] before completing her training at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School.

[1] She was a member of the Committee on Safety of Medicines and a Non-executive Director of the Health Protection Agency.

[2] Leonard served as a commissioner on a report funded by the Foundation for a Smoke-Free World.

The foundation is, in turn, funded by tobacco company Philip Morris International.
