Ross Terry Young (March 20, 1962 – April 9, 2021) was a Canadian provincial-level politician and financial advisor on Prince Edward Island.
[2] His father, Ross "Johnny" Young, was also an MLA who represented 1st Kings;[1] his mother was Helen Rae MacLean.
He subsequently returned to school, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1990.
[1] He consequently put forward a private member's bill on May 6, 1994,[4] to change the province's electoral districts to single-member ridings.
[1] He served as executive assistant for Alan McIsaac, the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, starting in October 2011.
