Russell Brooks Bailey (October 17, 1897 – September 15, 1949) was an American professional football player who was a center.
[2] At West Virginia, he was a two-time All-American in 1917 and 1919 and served as a team captain in 1917.
[3][4][5] Following his career at West Virginia, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and earned his doctorate.
[2] Bailey was named to the West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
