Since the 2024 general election, the Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford is Alicia Kearns.

It was succeeded by the Rutland and Melton and Stamford and Spalding constituencies.

Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat was re-established for the 2024 general election.

Rutland & Melton and Grantham & Stamford prior to 2024 Reform UK removed Ginny Ball as its candidate in March 2024 after "exposure of a range of racist comments on her social media feed".
